OK over and over again I get emails asking some variation of “how do I make money online”. So I obviously need to be quite explicit about this. So here we go:
- making money online is not particularly easy, its definitely not a get rich quick scheme.
- it is however possible to make money online by building websites, getting visitors by ranking in the search engines and via social media and then either selling your own product, getting a commision from an affiliate, or by Adsense ads.
- its an awful lot of work and it may take you up to a year to see any results (depending on how much time and effort you put in)
I make money on this site by selling affiliate products – if you sign up for some of the tools and programs I recommend, I get a commission. Just the same as if you sign up with a mortgage broker, or buy a TV is some shops the sales man gets a commission.
The good thing with making money online is that you don’t need to spend a lot of money up front. You may have read about programs that cost thousands of dollars up front. This is pure marketing bullshit – just because you spend thousands doesn’t mean that the course you buy will be any more worthwhile than the free information online, or even a cheap course charging around $30/month.
When I started there was no blueprint – I floundered around for 18 months trying to figure it all out.
The thing is I don’t have the time or resources to take you by the hand to teach you how to make money online. Instead I’ll point you to a program that does just that - the same one that taught me how to make $2500/month online.
