I started off without a clue in this business. I’m not saying I was uneducated – I had a degree in science and had even done some marketing courses. I was computer literate – in fact my very first website was builit in html. But I didn’t know anything useful like
- marketing
- selling
- how to start a business
In fact I had some pretty big attitude problems – I was burnt out after years in corporate jobs which stole my soul – and without me really realising it – my self confidence. Although you don’t need to be a brash sales man in this game it certainly helps. And it helps if you have some faith that what you are doing will actually work – I had no such faith.
Which is all a long way to say that I really didn’t know what I was doing when I started, I wasn’t even sure I could make money online without scamming and ripping people off.

September 2009 – my thoughts after 2 years of trying to build my business
August 2009 – I make over US$2000/month
July 2009 – I’ve doubled my income in three months
March 2009 – probably my turn-around post – when I realised what the problem was – and the problem was me
Jan 2011 – I hit US$2500 /month in passive income – do you make that much?
